Arthur’s Point network upgrade

Civil groundworks for relocated ring main units on a constrained roadside site.

Arthur’s Point network upgrade project site

The objective

Prepare a new raised location for replacement electricity network equipment.

The delivery challenge

Live high-voltage services, nearby water and communications networks, traffic and protected trees constrained the works.

Alpine Civil’s approach

Air excavation helped expose services. The team formed retaining walls, installed conduits, prepared the equipment base and reinstated disturbed surfaces. Electrical work was completed by Electronet.

Scope of works

  • Service excavation and conduit installation
  • Timber retaining walls and compacted equipment base
  • Footpath reinstatement and landscaping

The outcome

The base was ready for installation, with surrounding footpaths and landscape reinstated.

Project information adapted from Alpine Civil’s existing published case study. Approved detailed scope and supporting documentation are available by enquiry.
