Street Upgrades

Clyde Heritage Precinct

Staged street, utility and public-space improvements in the historic heart of Clyde.

Clyde Heritage Precinct project site

The objective

Renew streets and public spaces while retaining the character of the heritage precinct.

The delivery challenge

Operating businesses, visitors, existing services and archaeological considerations shaped the delivery approach.

Alpine Civil’s approach

Works were sequenced across two stages. Daily liaison with businesses supported access while utilities, crossings and public spaces were upgraded.

Scope of works

  • Water, stormwater, power and communications works
  • Raised crossings, pavements and kerb preparation
  • Street furniture, lighting bases and planting areas

The outcome

Renewed streets and public spaces, with business and pedestrian access maintained during the works.

Project information adapted from Alpine Civil’s existing published case study. Approved detailed scope and supporting documentation are available by enquiry.
